At the House of Gold Dance Academy, we pride ourselves on providing the safest and most up to date dance knowledge in a loving, family-friendly, and nurturing environment.
We prioritize the well-being, mental and physical health and safety, and happiness of all of our dancers as well as their dancing abilities. Your dancer will not only learn dance steps, technique, and performance qualities, but will also learn dedication, professionalism, work-ethic, and sportsmanship.
You and your dancer will find that our studio and classes are fully inclusive an a safe space for everyone. At our studio your dancer will discover and outlet for expression and a safe place to follow their dreams. Our staff knows that no two dancers are alike, so we embrace and encourage all of the things that make each student unique.
WHO ARE WE ?
The House of Gold Dance Academy was founded in 2023. The directors had a vision to foster children through the art of dance & also provide affordable dance classes within our community.
The Golden Dancerettes launched as a community based dance competition team in September 2016, under the Direction Of Keanna Henry & Shania Farmer. Both directors have had a life long dream of creating a passionate and meaningful dance experience for all individuals within our community.
We started our dance journey as a community based team and now we are a community based dance company that offers a wide variety of dance programs and opportunities for our dancers.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our dance company provides a family-type atmosphere, age-appropriate instruction, costumes, and choreography. Our classes and rehearsals are often informal, usually noisy, sometimes fun but we are also very serious about helping each child become the very best dancer they can be. We are trying to show every one of our dancers that hard work produces achievement and to help each one experience the genuine self-esteem that comes with the accomplishment of difficult and challenging skills under the direction of a positive and encouraging teacher. We feel that these important lessons help our students not only master the art of dance, but also serve as useful tool as they face life's many challenges.
